1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Fix Your Plumbing website (fixyourplumbing.com.au) or by requesting our plumbing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Fix Your Plumbing provides licensed residential and commercial plumbing services in Greater Sydney, NSW, Australia. All plumbing work is carried out by or under the supervision of licensed plumbers in accordance with NSW plumbing regulations and the Plumbing Code of Australia.

Submitting a booking request through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once a Fix Your Plumbing representative has contacted you and provided written or verbal confirmation.

3. Pricing and Payment

• All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
• We provide upfront pricing before any work commences. You will be given a written quote or verbal estimate prior to work beginning.
• Payment is due upon completion of work unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing.
• We accept cash, credit/debit card, and EFT. Payment terms for commercial and strata clients may differ by agreement.
• Emergency and after-hours call-outs include a call-out fee that will be disclosed prior to dispatch.

4. Warranties and Guarantees

Fix Your Plumbing provides a workmanship guarantee on all labour for a period of 12 months from the date of service completion. This guarantee covers defects directly resulting from our workmanship and does not cover damage caused by third parties, fair wear and tear, misuse, or pre-existing conditions unrelated to our work.

Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and materials supplied by us in accordance with the relevant manufacturer's terms.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment by contacting us at least 2 hours before the scheduled time at no charge. Cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee. Emergency call-out fees are non-refundable once a plumber has been dispatched.

6. Access to Property

By booking our services, you confirm that you are the property owner or have authority to grant access to the property. You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to all areas where work is required. Fix Your Plumbing is not liable for delays or additional costs arising from restricted access.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Fix Your Plumbing's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of re-performing the service or refunding the amount paid for the service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Website Use

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use the website in any way that damages, disrupts or impairs its operation, or that infringes the rights of any person. All website content — including text, images and logos — is the property of Fix Your Plumbing and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
